Dooriel Fisheries is an Irish family-owned oyster business started by Dooriel native Paddy Ginty and his wife Peggy back in 1994. The farm is now managed by Shane Ginty

We grow gigas oysters,Crassostrea gigas in Dooriel Creek,Ballycroy,County Mayo which is on the West Coast of Ireland.

This part of the Mayo coastline has a long and deep tradition of oyster and shellfish harvesting going back hundreds of years.This is in no small part to the rich pristine Atlantic waters which feed our shellfish.

We continue this time honoured tradition and are very proud to offer our own unique Dooriel Creek Oysters for the world to taste.
